    Individual disability insurance can be used by those who do not have employer-provided benefits or are self-employed. This type of policy often can replace a percentage of your gross income should sickness or illness prevent you from earning an income in your occupation. It may include coverage for both short-term and long-term benefits. This type of coverage is NOT the same as Worker’s Compensation.

  • High Value Homes
Many standard homeowner insurance policies exclude homes valued over $1million dollars. Specialty Homeowner Policies are specifically designed to offer coverage that isn’t available in the standard market.
  • Landlord Property
Owning rental investment property can be a great opportunity for additional income. However these policies usually carry different types of coverages and limits. For example, a tenant-occupied property does not require you to carry contents coverage but you should have comprehensive property and liability protection at higher limits. Additionally, it is recommended that your tenant carry their own contents policy, also known as a a Renters Policy.
  • Long Term Care (LTC)

The cost for nursing home care, assisted living, hospice care, and in-home care is rising. Prepare for these financial needs with a LTC Policy. Premiums are reasonably priced when purchased before your mid-60’s. If you are self-employed, a partner in a company, or own and LLC, your tax advisor may also be able to suggest strategies for tax deductions.

  • Seasonal Property
Seasonal homes demand specialized coverage because they are typically used as a secondary residence or maybe even a rental investment. Dwelling Property (DP) policies address the uniqueness of seasonal properties and are insured differently than a standard homeowner policy.
